In Estonia, a British soldier has died, while being in the Baltic country as part of NATO forces. Fusilier Sam Brownridge has passed away, while off duty past weekend, the British Ministry of Defence.
Fusilier Sam Brownridge, from the First Battalion, Royal Regiment of Fusiliers of the United Kingdom, died on Sunday, July 5. The soldier was off duty at the time.
“Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this tragic time,” in a statement of the web sited of the British Ministry of Defence.
The ministry stated that a full investigation was under way, adding that it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.
