Estonia puts Czech Republic, Romania on its list of 7 virus unsafe EU members

Estonia requires from Monday, July 6, guests from a larger, seven EU member list, including the Czech Republic and Croatia, two spend two weeks in self-isolation after entering Estonia.

Health authorities in the country have noted that it is a person’s own responsibility to spend the 14-day period in self-confinement. The list of epidemiologically unsafe European countries contains the United Kingdom and seven EU members. They are:

  1. Bulgaria
  2. Croatia
  3. Czech Republic
  4. Luxembourg
  5. Portugal
  6. Romania
  7. Sweden.

The Estonia Ministry of Foreign Affairs urges travel from Estonia is avoided due to the spread of the coronavirus, except to European countries where there are 15 or fewer infected people per 100,000 inhabitants and where there is no need to remain isolated upon return. The eight mentioned countries currently have over 15 infected people per 100,000 inhabitants.
