As of Monday, 6 July, Latvian Economy Minister Jānis Vitenbergs’ office will be managed by Ginta Ozola, as reported by the ministry.
Ozola graduated from University of Latvia with Master’s degree in political sciences and from Liepaja Pedagogical Academy with Bachelor’s degree in mathematics.
For more than ten years she has worked at Liepaja representation office in Riga. She became its head at 2005. Lately she has been working at the Cross-Sectoral Coordination Centre, where she has worked on National Development Plan 2021-2027, as reported by the ministry.
Ozola was also the head of office to the previous economy ministers Artis Kampars, Daniels Pavļuts and Arvils Ašeradens.
